DeerFest Is Moving
Washington County Fair Park to Host DF for Next Five Years
DeerFest is thrilled to announce we are moving to a bigger, better and more modern facility. DeerFest 2014 will take place August 8th-10th at the Washington County Fair Park. Located just 45 miles south of Oshkosh (where DF was held each of the last 4 years) WCFP is located on Hwy 45 just south of West Bend, WI. Please check out the new facility at www.wcfairpark.com. By clicking on the “Event Planners” tab you can see the facilities and grounds.
“We are thrilled to be moving DeerFest to WCFP. The facilities are second to none, and move us 45 miles closer to Milwaukee and Madison (Wisconsin’s two largest cities). We want to thank the Oshkosh community for their help in growing DF to one of the largest deer festivals in the country and are now poised to greatly enhance DF activities and attendance. I’m sure our exhibitors will also be thrilled to know all booths and exhibits will be housed in state of the art buildings—no more tents,” stated event owner, Hugh McAloon.
DeerFest will continue to bring top name hunting celebrities to the event, and offer attendees all of the activities it has featured at past events. “We promise things will only get better—nothing will be eliminated. The new facility will allow us to expand our seminar schedule, trophy scoring and archery events, and we are working on adding an event/feature that will really drive attendance and participation”, McAloon continued.
DF is working to finalize the event floor plan and secure a host hotel. Updates will be provided in the near future.
